Welcome

Dear Columbia University Club of DC Members; Sukumar Dwarkanath and I, Tisha Jepson, were officially elected as co-presidents of The Columbia University Club of DC (ColumbiaDC) on September 14, 2011. We want to tell you how much we are looking forward to working to continue your connection with Columbia University. Given that each of you were a student at one of the best universities in the United States, you will have come to count on a certain level of interaction through Columbia and its clubs. ColumbiaDC will provide you with the educational, networking, and social experiences that you might expect from an Ivy League institution such as Columbia.

Please contact us with your questions and suggestions. We look forward to having your input and will do our best to be responsive to the needs and desires of the membership as it relates to the ColumbiaDC.

Thank you for your commitment to Columbia University and, by extension, to the Columbia University Club of DC.

Now that the elections are behind us, everything is falling into place here in Washington and we are starting off with an impressive Board which is already demonstrating its ability to come together and successfully work to bring the membership a club which provides a broad range of involvement opportunities. As a team, our DC group will be a proactive organization spreading the influence of Columbia University in a positive way through our programs and membership outreach. We are all enthusiastic and energized about the years ahead.

Again, Sukumar and I, extend our warmest appreciation to you individually and as a group. We are very lucky to be at the helm of the ColumbiaDC.

Sincerely,

Tisha Jepson, Co-President ColumbiaDC
Sukumar Dwarkanath, Co-President ColumbiaDC
